Draadbeschermers worden gebruikt in combinatie met metaaldraad (bvb. Accu-Flex). Als je een armband of ketting van metaaldraad maakt wil je hier een slotje aan bevestigen. Door de wrijving met het slotje zou het metaaldraad op termijn stuk kunnen gaan. De draadbeschermer voorkomt dit.

Similar to bullion or French wire with a rigid, pre-curved horseshoe shape to cradle and protect your bead cord from fraying. The inside hole diameter is 0.8mm.
